The originality lies in the engine: an electric motor powered by a fuel cell that converts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lefigaro.fr\/societes\/hydrogene-l-europe-risque-d-etre-depassee-20230130\" data-fig-type=\"Article\" data-gtm-custom-categorie=\"navigation\" data-gtm-custom-action=\"crossclick\" data-gtm-custom-label=\"Contextuel\" data-gtm-event=\"customEventSPE\" data-fig-domain=\"LEFIGARO\">hydrogen<\/a> into electricity, providing a range of 400 kilometres. The truck was presented on Wednesday at the Hyvolution hydrogen trade fair. Its promoter is the French start-up Hyliko.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"fig-paragraph\">Traditional truck manufacturers have not yet shown any real interest in hydrogen, their investments having been largely taken up by battery electrics, gas, biofuels and the forthcoming Euro 7 standard. Hyliko, convinced of the potential of this gas, has developed its own HGV on its own.
